Important Physical and Mechanical Properties of Dominant Potato Variety Widely Grown in Ethiopia

The physical attributes of agricultural product are utmost essential in developing technologies for different unit operations. Pertinent potato tuber were studied. 100 samples dominant and popular varieties grown Ethiopia which free from any injuries each variety obtained Holeta Agricultural Research Center. In this study, the tubers determined at a moisture content 70.75, 69.99, 71.75, 69.70 72.38% (wet basis) Belete, Jalenie, Gera, Gudene Chala varieties, respectively. Except specific gravity tuber, other properties studied significantly 5% level significance. Analysis variance showed that there is also significant difference coefficient static friction angle repose all under four materials dynamic mild steel sheet metal galvanized sheet.
